Ibanez K5BKF Fieldy Signature Series 5-String – Electric Bass with 3 Band EQ – Black Flat Online now

Description
Styled in a black flat finish, the Ibanez K5BKF is Fieldy s signature series 5-string electric bass. Fieldy is the bass player of Korn, and his playing is quite recognizable for its aggressive slaps and pops in a nu-metal context. The instrument sports a mahogany body and a 34 scale, bolt-on maple walnut neck with a jatoba fingerboard and 24 medium frets.
  Â
For electronics, the instrument uses two Ibanez ADX5 active pickups, one in the neck and the other in the bridge. A Vari-Mid 3-band EQ is on hand for tonal tweaking. This preamp gets its name from its concentrically stacked midrange knobs, with one knob controlling the level of boost or cut, and the other determining of the center frequency of the boost cut in a variable variable way. The bass and treble boost cut knobs are also concentrically stacked. A volume and pickup balance knobs are also available for tonal shaping.
